Rules

Please note RACE ME ONLINE has the right to change and alternate any of their rules at any given time.

Validation:

To validate your GPS time submissions for an event, drivers must record an In-Car footage using the Video feature of their GPS device to film their instrument cluster or key components that clearly indicates they are racing the registered vehicle.

Drivers must maintain complete control of their vehicle or the submission will not be accepted.

Any hand held footage will not be accepted as it's unsafe driving.

Maximum negative slope is 1% and you must get a Verified time slip to post.

There is no maximum positive slope as going uphill is not an advantage.

***Video validation is only needed for event registrations. Racers can post their regular Verified slips at any time without video if not competing in an event***

Race Track Only:

All racing for RMO events must be done on a sanctioned race track where there are safety personal and staff to make sure conditions are safe to race.

***Any submissions that have footage of street racing will be removed and drivers will be disqualified as RMO does not support illegal activities***

General Time Slip Submissions:

It is free to join RMO and upload your GPS timeslips.

Drivers can fill out their Racer Profile and post their slips at any time.

When posting randomly, racers do not have follow event class rules unless they are registered for an event.

You do not need to validate your pass with an In Car footage for the general submissions.

The general timeslips must be Verified or the submission will be taken down to maintain accuracy and an even playing field.

Recording your passes:

All filming must be done with a stationary cell phone/camera mount. Any hand held recordings will be disqualified as it is unsafe practice. If RMO staff has any doubts that the registered car is not the same as in the provided footage, RMO has the right to deny the submission or ask for additional proof such such as the racers Instagram or Facebook account. RMO may ask for a walk around video of the vehicle to help validate the entry.

Event Registrations:

All registrations must done before the event starts or within the events time frame. Drivers cannot submit their times before the vent has started or after the event has ended.

Racers do not have to participate in an event to upload their data and fill out a Racer Profile.

***You can post your timeslips anytime if not competing in an event.***

Engine swaps:

If the registered car has a motor swap such as an LS3 in a BMW, or a 2JZ in an RX7. The vehicle will fall into the original category of the swapped motor. For these examples the 2JZ would be in the Toyota, Japanese or RWD class and LS would be signed up in the Chevy or Domestic or RWD class.

Sponsored Event Time Slip Submissions:

There will be sponsored events either weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

***Sponsors can reward the fastest cars of the class they choose to sponsor.***

For example:

Mustang Performance will give out 200$ for the fastest Mustang.

Euro Import will give 300$ for the fastest European.

Precision Machining will give out 400$ for the fastest AWD.

The rules and timeline to enter to win the sponsored event may change from time to time. Please make sure to read each specific event's rules before entering.

Keeping it fair:

PRO MOD and BIG TIRE cars can't compete against small tire cars in the events unless specified in the event description or by the Sponsor for the sponsored events.

The registered car will only be able to win the specific event once.

The car will reset after the same event circles back through once.

Example: Driver B wins the 60-130 in his a category. Driver B cannot win the next 60-130 event to give a chance to the next runner ups.

If the same car (not driver) wins the same event again, the runner up will get the prize.

***One driver can register multiple vehicles. But the vehicle cannot be registered to more than one driver per event.***

Sponsors can select different categories or makes and models to help narrow down the line up.

Example Precision Machining is giving 300$ for the fastest stick shift Camaro, DSM, etc.

This way the car/category is not competing against the whole line up.

Once there are enough RMO submissions we will have more classes and brackets. Please email us if you have any suggestions.

Rain Outs for events:

If more then 50% of the registered drivers cannot submit their times due to bad weather the event will be postponed. The drivers that were able to submit their times will have the choice to keep their current submission for the postponed event or forfeit the submission and re-record new times. Once forfeited they cannot re-use the canceled submission for the postponed event. If no answers are received by end of the scheduled event the car automatically forfeits it's passes for the weekend and must resubmit new times for the postponed event.

If more than 50% of the registered cars cancel due to the weather, RMO will look at the previous forecasts in these areas and will have the right to override the 50% cancelation rule if it was determined that the tracks were opened and weather permitted for drag racing.
